March 2013: The Guardian

The Guardian's travel writer Joanne O'Connor visited North Essex in March for a weekend exploring this lesser known corner of Essex. She included some cycling in her itinerary, and afterwards she wrote up a nice piece in the Guardian's weekend travel section on 16th March.

January 2013: BBC - Escape to the Country

Series 13 episode 37 features an urban couple looking to move to rural Essex. They were keen cyclists, so we spent a day cycle touring with them and showing them some of the rural scenery made famous by John Constable with his paintings of Dedham Vale. First airing date was scheduled for Tuesday 15th Jan, BBC1, 3:00pm.

April 2012: The Times

The Times' "Travel doctor" was kind enough to recommend our Heritage Coast cycling tours in the Weekend Section of 7th April. From early May to late September, a series of small passenger ferries let you hop effortlessly across the various estuaries that add so much interest to Suffolk's unspoilt coastline. The area has been officially recognised and protected as the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty since 1970.

April 2011: The Daily Mail

We were delighted to get a mention in the 30th April Weekend Section review of "6 of the Best Cycling Holidays in the UK", where our Constable Country 3 Night Tour came in at number 2 in their (admittedly highly non-scientific!) list. This was pleasing both for us as a company, and more generally for the recognition of Constable Country as a great UK cycling destination - the other regions represented in the list being The Cotswolds, Devon, Shropshire, Yorkshire and Pembrokeshire.

March 2011: The Dedham Vale & Stour Valley News

This free bi-annual newspaper is published by the local project team who help promote and protect the Dedham Vale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the surrounding rural Stour Valley area. They very kindly ran an article about Coolpedals in their 2011 Spring/Summer edition.

Thank you, Dedham Vale & Stour Valley Project Team!
